The role of the BBSI Area Manager is to provide leadership both to our clients and our internal team of subject matter experts who serve them. To be successful, our Area Managers are themselves masters of business, capable of providing visionary thinking and consistently delivering results.

Tasked with increasing market share and branch profitability, the Area Manager is responsible for all areas of the client lifecycle, including acquisition, development, and retention. In addition to rigorously assessing prospective clients and fostering relationships, Area Managers play a leadership role in the branch, supporting a culture of continuous improvement that emphasizes achieving business owner and organizational objectives.

Other companies offer some of the same capabilities as BBSI, but none of them ask the questions we do when engaging with business owners. The BBSI Business Partner is the key driver of these conversations, facilitating the strategic thinking that inspires our clients to approach their businesses in new ways.

Business Partners foster these relationships through regular, in-person meetings and sessions, with up to 50% of their time spent on-site with business owners discussing objectives and creating blueprints to meet them. This face-to-face time is critical to developing a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and the goals of individual business owners, and what allows us to stay in lockstep with them as new challenges and opportunities emerge.

BBSI works with small and medium-size business owners, partnering with them in pursuit of their success. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a key member of our branch team and is accountable for developing opportunities that strengthen and expand BBSI’s client base and bring consistency to our growth. Their primary objective is to identify like-minded referral partners and forge successful long-term relationships.

BDMs are responsible for articulating BBSI’s offerings and the value they bring to business owners. Up to 85% of their time will be spent in the local market, engaging with prospective referral partners and clients. A clear understanding of BBSI’s expertise and value proposition is critical to evaluating prospects and recognizing those that represent ideal partners.

Everything we do at BBSI is in support of business owners—we are their advocates and trusted advisors, and are driven by a desire to deliver results for them and their companies. The Human Resource Consultant is a key part of the dedicated business team who works together to provide strategic consultation on a broad range of organizational issues. While a thorough understanding of HR is critical to this role, real success is achieved through the one-on-one relationships forged with our clients.

The primary objective of the HR Consultant is to provide guidance, training and support to clients in the areas of strategic human capital management, employment law awareness, employee relations, organization development, workers’ compensation administration and the overall development of best practices in human capital management.

BBSI HR Consultants spend roughly 50% of their time out of the office and onsite with business owners and their teams. This in-person time is critical to developing a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and is what enables us to be forward-thinking in our approach to their evolving organizational needs.

The BBSI Market Development Manager provides leadership to our business-owner clients and our internal team of experts. This position is responsible for leading a multi-million dollar business that provides solutions to a broad range of organizational issues.

The primary objective of the Market Development Manager is to drive growth and results for BBSI. With P&L responsibility for the branch, the Market Development Manager is tasked with increasing market share, bringing on and retaining clients, and profitability. The Market Development Manager must possess a stakeholder mentality with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver results for our clients and internal teams.

The BBSI Risk Management Consultant plays a key role in the dedicated business unit that works collaboratively to consult with business owners on strategies and best practices.

Risk Management Consultants serve as trusted advisors, sharing their expertise in enterprise risk management and risk mitigation with clients and internal teams. Up to 85% of their time is spent on-site with clients collaborating on blueprints that lead to successful outcomes throughout the organization. Additionally, the Risk Management Consultant partners with clients to educate and influence them on matters involving the promotion of a proactive risk management culture, occupational health and safety and behavior-based safety.

BBSI clears the way for business owners to focus on the areas of their business that generate the biggest impact. The BBSI Payroll Analyst is part of the dedicated business unit that provides support for our clients and our internal team of experts. The primary objective of this role is to process timely and accurate payroll based on client provided data and provide solutions to improve payroll processes.

Payroll Analysts are experts in BBSI payroll, timekeeping and HRIS systems, and proactively identify system options to achieve better results for our clients. They work closely with clients, identifying reporting needs, preparing reports and performing on-site payroll training and implementation planning.

BBSI supports business owners in a broad range of organizational areas, enabling them to focus on their core business while building stronger companies. The BBSI Recruiting Specialist is a key member of the team, responsible for the recruitment and placement of candidates for a wide variety of positions across multiple industries.

In addition to day-to-day recruitment support, Recruiting Specialists work closely with our clients' companies to educate and advise on matters such as recruitment, staffing, employee engagement, change management, performance management, and employee relations.
