Introduction to Online Tax Forms Registration and Access


This guide will walk you through the process of registering, accessing, and managing your online tax forms (W2/1099/1095) via the Paperless Employee portal. Follow the steps below to ensure a seamless experience.

Online Tax Forms (W2/1099/1095)

Account Creation

  1. Visit Paperless Employee.
  2. Click Create Account.
  3. Enter your Social Security Number and Date of Birth.
  4. Check the box for I’m not a robot.
  5. Click Authenticate & Create Account.

If Unable to Verify

If you receive an error message, contact your employer to verify that your Social Security Number, Date of Birth, email address, and phone number are correct. Retry registration after 2-3 business days.

Create a New Account

  1. Enter your First Name, Middle Name (optional), and Last Name.
  2. Create a User ID (follow the on-screen rules).
  3. Create and confirm your Password (follow the on-screen rules).
  4. Select your preferred contact method under Receive a Verification Code:
    • Email: Click Verify.
    • Text: Click Text Me.
    • Phone Call: Click Call Me.
  5. Enter the verification code and click Submit.
  6. Click Save and Continue to activate your account.

Security Questions

  1. Select and answer three security questions using the dropdown menus and text fields.
  2. Click Save Security Questions once all questions are answered.

Additional Contact Information

  1. Enter your email address and click Verify Email to receive a verification code.
  2. Enter your phone number (optional) and select Text Me or Call Me to receive a code.
  3. Enter the verification code and click Submit.

Electronic Statement Notification Options

  1. Select Yes to receive electronic statements or No for mailed copies.
  2. Choose notification methods (email and/or text).
  3. Select Yes or No to receive account lockout alerts.
  4. Click Save Notification Option Settings.

Account Access & Login Issues

Log in to Paperless Employee using your User ID and Password.

Forgotten User ID

  1. Enter the required account information.
  2. Click Authenticate.
  3. Your User ID will be displayed. Use it to log in.

Forgotten Password

  1. Enter your User ID.
  2. Check the box for I’m not a robot.
  3. Click Verify User ID.
  4. Confirm your identity via security questions or verification code.
  5. Create a new password and log in.

Retrieving Original Tax Forms

  1. Click Year-End Tax Statements or Access Current Year-End Statements.
  2. Click Download PDF to view, save, or print the document.
  3. Ensure you have a PDF reader installed, such as Adobe Reader.

Requesting a Reissued Copy of Tax Statements

  1. Select the checkbox for the tax form(s) you need reissued.
  2. Choose a delivery method:
    • Download (PDF): Immediate access, free for 30 days.
    • Mail: Enter your preferred mailing address. Allow up to 10 business days for delivery.
  3. Click Review & Complete Order, then Submit Order.
  4. If selecting online delivery, documents are available for 10 minutes after submission.
