Bret Hinerman, CSP, CHST

Bret Hinerman is a Risk Consultant at BBSI Redding with more than 25 years of experience in safety program management and risk management. His background spans roles as a construction project engineer, project manager, project inspector, safety manager, and risk manager, giving him deep, practical insight into workplace safety. Bret specializes in general industry and construction safety compliance, with expertise in regulations from OSHA, EPA, DOT, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He also brings experience in property and casualty insurance, risk mitigation, and risk transfer strategies. Bret holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University, Chico, and maintains Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) credentials. Outside of work, Bret enjoys spending time with his wife, five adult children, and his Australian Shepherd, Axle.
