Great Place to Work Certified
BBSI is a certified Great Place to Work®, reflecting our focus on employee experience and a culture shaped by employee feedback. Our commitment to people is reinforced by employee turnover rates that consistently remain below national and industry averages.
Health & Wellness
Employee well-being is a priority at BBSI. We continue to enhance benefits and wellness offerings, including paid time off, volunteer time off, and access to health and wellness resources.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core to our culture. BBSI is committed to fair, inclusive practices and fostering an environment where employees feel respected and empowered. Our DEI Committee guides ongoing initiatives, supported by training, inclusive hiring practices, and employee education.
Mitigating Business Risk
In a typical year, we conduct over 1,000 new client workplace risk and safety assessments, and for existing clients, we provide periodic safety visits and consultations. These assessments and the resulting changes in business practices reduce workplace injuries, improving the business success of our clients and the health of their workers.
We require clients to agree to take responsibility for making their workplaces safer. For workers who are injured on the job, we offer programs to help them get back to work sooner.
Improving Culture & Employee Engagement
Our human resource consulting services not only assist clients with meeting compliance obligations, but can also improve workplace culture, reduce turnover, and increase employee engagement. BBSI’s services help clients stay compliant with an ever-changing regulatory landscape, providing a fair and satisfying work environment.
Local Engagement & Volunteerism
BBSI operates through local branches nationwide, allowing teams to stay connected to their communities. We support employee volunteerism through a paid program that encourages giving back to local causes, disaster response, and community initiatives.
Workforce Opportunity & Economic Impact
Through our staffing services, BBSI helps individuals enter or re‑enter the workforce by providing opportunities to gain experience, build job history, and progress toward long‑term employment. These efforts support both individual livelihoods and local economies.
Support During Critical Moments
When businesses and communities face disruption, BBSI provides guidance, tools, and expertise to help employers navigate change. From economic challenges to public health crises, our focus remains on helping businesses continue operating, protect jobs, and support their employees.
Security & Governance
Our approach to information security and corporate governance reflects BBSI’s commitment to safeguarding data, maintaining regulatory compliance, and conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
Information Security
BBSI maintains a robust cybersecurity program to protect the information entrusted to us. Led by a dedicated Chief Information Security Officer and supported by third‑party security tools, our approach enables rapid threat detection, response, and ongoing compliance validation through internal audits.
BBSI also maintains a SOC 1 report from an independent CPA firm, providing assurance over controls designed to protect client financial data, manage access, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Corporate Governance
BBSI is committed to strong corporate governance and ethical business practices. Our Code of Business Conduct sets clear expectations for integrity and professionalism for all directors, officers, and employees. Compliance with SEC requirements is regularly tested under the COSO Framework and SOC 1 protocols, supported by ongoing employee training. BBSI also maintains anti‑retaliation protections to encourage employees to raise good‑faith concerns.
Our Responsibility
BBSI embeds environmental responsibility and human rights into our operations through sustainable practices and ethical, inclusive policies.

BBSI takes practical steps to reduce our environmental impact through responsible e‑waste recycling, waste reduction programs, and sustainable office practices. We also leverage digital tools like the myBBSI platform to reduce paper use, consider energy efficiency when managing office space, and encourage employee participation in environmental and community volunteer efforts through paid volunteer time.
BBSI believes that all individuals should be treated with respect and dignity. In this belief, we are guided by the UN Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights. The rights outlined in these Principles include equality, freedom, and the fair application of laws. We strive to do our part by creating an inclusive and ethical workplace, as set out in our Code of Business Conduct and policies.
Under these principles, we commit to operating in compliance with local and federal laws regarding employment and individual rights. We believe that by embracing these principles, we can positively influence the lives of individuals in our communities and the world.
