Joe Guerra has been a Risk Management Consultant and Workers' Compensation Claims Administrator for BBSI since 2015. He graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in business management with an HR emphasis. Joe enjoys his position because of the passion he has for helping business owners identify potential problems before they occur, so that risk can be mitigated as quickly as possible. He looks at each day as a new opportunity to be his best, loves what he does, consistently sets professional and personal goals, and associates himself with people who share the passion he does for doing their best. As Risk Management Consultant, Joe provides on-site occupational safety and risk control consultation for a variety of clients in various industries such as manufacturing, construction, transportation, and restaurants. He works directly with business owners to mitigate, develop, and implement effective safety and OSHA compliance programs on a variety of topics such as Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication/GHS, Accident Investigations, Fleet Safety, Ergonomics, Bloodborne Pathogens, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and more. Joe conducts safety audits and risk assessments for clients, and then provides recommendations for improvements to programs, processes, and/or employee working conditions. He provides training to employees, supervisors, and management on a wide variety of safety/risk management topics, such as injury costs, OSHA compliance, and accident investigations. Joe's goal is to partner with business owners to ensure their employees go home safely each day in the same condition they came to work.
