How to Hire a Lawyer Who Actually Helps You Grow: Common Legal Issues From Formation to Exit

Business Strategy

Event Host: BBSI Lehi

September 16, 2026

Legal support does not have to simply be a cost of doing business. The right legal decisions can help business owners protect what they are building, avoid costly missteps, and make better decisions as their company grows.

This session will walk through the lifecycle of a business, from entity selection and founder equity through hiring, raising capital, growth, and eventually an exit. We’ll look at where legal decisions can have a real impact on the business and the common issues owners should know when to address.

Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the legal issues that may come up at different stages of their business, what deserves attention now versus later, and how to evaluate whether an attorney is actually adding value to the business.

Lunch will be provided!
